We rely on in kind donations to support our families in need and welcome newly arrived refugees to their new homes in the US. You can donate furniture and household goods for refugee apartments, food baskets for new arrivals, or clothing of all sizes to keep our clothing closet well stocked.

Nashville:

Inspiritus began welcoming refugees to Nashville in 2022. We are in need of financial donations, as well as, household and personal items to provide a warm welcome to our new neighbors. Our Nashville team is small, so our capacity to pick up and accept donations is limited. Thank you for your understanding. To donate, please contact Nashville Community Engagement Specialist, Maria.Robles@weinspirit.org. If you wish to make a donation of needed items, please see our Nashville Amazon Wish List.

Since 2010, Inspiritus has provided life-changing empowerment programs to low income and vulnerable families in the Middle Tennessee region from our campus in North Nashville. Our North Nashville site on Rosa Parks Blvd. maintains a food pantry and supplies closet that are in need of in kind donations: household cleaning supplies, hygiene supplies, clothing, school supplies, and food items. To donate, please contact the Executive Director of Middle Tennessee, Janet Arning

Atlanta:

If you wish to make a donation of needed items, please see our Atlanta Amazon Wish List.

If you wish to donate clothing or other essential items, please contact Community Engagement Specialist, Jennifer Garcia

Inspiritus Atlanta partners with the Welcome Co-Op to house and clothe newly arrived refugees, and we are directing all household and clothing donation inquiries to them. Please visit their site to see what items are needed at this time.

Welcome Co-Op

The Welcome Co-op supports its partner agencies by managing housing logistics for new refugee families and individuals. They work with housing providers, vendors and volunteers to secure housing, collect needed household items and furnishings, and set up homes for newcomers.
