Inspiritus works in partnership with the Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) to provide safe and stable foster homes for children in the custody of the state.
Inspiritus has announced plans to reduce its foster care services and focus on serving children with significant medical and behavioral challenges in metro Atlanta and northwest Georgia communities. Click here for more information on this transition.
Our top priority at Inspiritus is the safety and well being of children. To meet the needs of children and to ensure that they have a safe and supportive foster care environment, we provide training and ongoing support to our foster parents. Inspiritus offers a thorough training program so that every parent feels confident and well-prepared to meet the special needs of the children with signficant medical and behavioral challenges. Through nursing education and support, training coordination, and case management, our foster parents are supported by our professional staff at all times.
